Town Seeks Plan Commission Member

The Town of Newbold is seeking interest from Newbold citizens to fill a 3-year Town Plan Commission Member vacancy. Plan Commission citizen members are appointed by the Town Board of Supervisors and Chairperson and is considered the “Town Planning Agency”. The seven-person commission will review land use applications and requests made to the town and forward a recommendation onto the Town Board for final determination. All town ordinances will be followed, and the town land use plan considered when reviewing requests. The compensation for the appointment is $40 per meeting and the commission typically meets monthly.
